Currently a post-doctoral fellow at in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at University of Missouri - Columbia. He received his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Civil Engineering from Hohai University in China, and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. He has expertise in transportation intelligence, deep learning, high-performance computing, and quantum computing. Before joining the MU, he also worked on various competitions including the $7m Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE where he was a semi-finalist. Dr. Amo-Boateng is a certified instructor at the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, training researchers, engineers, and data scientists to apply deep learning and accelerated computing in solving complex problems across multiple industries.
