Elnaz Safapour is an assistant professor in the Civil Engineering and Construction Department at Georgia Southern University. She received her Ph.D. in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, majoring in Construction Engineering and Management, from the University of Texas at Arlington. She was a postdoctoral associate at Virginia Tech. Dr. Safapour’s research background and expertise mainly focus on enhancing sustainability and resilience transportation infrastructure and systems. She has published more than 60 articles in prestigious journals and conference proceedings. She has also secured and been involved in several federal and state research projects.
