Professor Al-Qadi has more than 35 years of extensive experience in teaching, research, and consulting in resilient and sustainable airfield and highway pavements, life cycle assessment, life cycle cost analysis, advanced modeling, instrumentation and accelerated testing, and forensic engineering and arbitration. Al-Qadi designed and instrumented the Virginia Smart Road, Caligari International Airport, among other instrumentation projects. He developed and deployed ground penetration radar and corresponding signal analysis for highways. Al-Qadi led more than 150 projects and manages more than 60 projects annually as the director of ICT. The outcome is disseminated in more than 750 publications.
