Tasnim is pursuing a doctorate in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at the University of New Mexico. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He later obtained a Master of Science in Engineering, focusing on Civil Engineering, from Texas State University. He is currently conducting research on the 'Solution to Interfacial Delamination of NMDOT's Asphalt Pavements' under the guidance of Professor Rafiqul A. Tarefder.
