Dr. Chieh (Ross) Wang is a Senior R&D Staff Member and the Group Leader of the Applied Research for Mobility Systems (ARMS) Group at ORNL. With a strong foundation in engineering and data-driven analysis, his work focuses on developing innovative simulation tools, control strategies, and integrated technologies to enhance transportation efficiency and safety. At ORNL, Dr. Wang is actively engaged in optimizing traffic management systems, enhancing vehicle connectivity and automation, and integrating state-of-the-art sensor and data analytics solutions to address real-world mobility challenges. His research bridges fundamental scientific insights with practical applications, driving improvements in system performance and reliability across diverse transportation networks.
