I am Azharul Islam, pursuing my MS in Civil Engineering with a Transportation Concentration at Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, Georgia, USA. I am also working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the same department. I received my B.Sc in Civil Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Since then I have worked on three funded Transportation and Railway Projects. I have 10 years of job experience in Transportation Engineering, Pavement Engineering, and Road Construction. My research interests are Pavement Engineering, Asphalt binder, Road Construction, Highway Drainage work, Accident Rate Analysis, Ground Improvement through PVD, and Project Management
