Faizan M. Mir, M.S

Faizan Mir is a Researcher in the Center for Integrated Mobility Sciences at National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Golden, CO. He holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Bouler specializing in robotics and controls. Mr Mir's technical specialities include robotics, sensor perception, control systems, and data fusion. As part of the NREL Infrastructure Perception and Control (IPC) lab, Mr. Mir has integrated multiple sensor modalities in the IPC Mobile Laboratory, a key platform for sensor testing and data collection under the USDOT SMART grant in Colorado Springs. Prior to NREL, Mr. Mir worked in engine control systems for the automotive industry, focusing on powertrain calibration and embedded control algorithms.
