Graduate Fellow
Oregon State University
Corvallis, OR, United States
I am a PhD Student in the Civil and Construction Engineering Department at Oregon State University, focusing on transportation engineering. I completed my MS in Civil Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. Between 2021 and 2024, as a graduate student at Louisiana Tech University, I conducted research funded by the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Exploratory Advanced Research Program, concentrating on pioneering work in plastic-modified asphalt binder to drive transformational advances in U.S. highway engineering and intermodal surface transportation systems.
Previously, I served as a faculty member in the Civil Engineering Department at Port City International University (PCIU) in Chittagong, Bangladesh, from September 2014 to January 2021. My teaching covered core undergraduate courses such as Pavement and Railway Engineering, Transport and Traffic Design, Transportation Planning and Management, and Transportation Engineering Labs. I completed my B.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 2014 from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), one of Bangladesh’s top-ranked private universities. Alongside teaching, I engaged in research on urban infrastructure systems, with a focus on econometrics and resilient development.
