Dewan Tanvir Ahammed is a Ph.D. student in Civil Engineering, specializing in Transportation Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor’s from the Islamic University of Technology in Bangladesh, where he built a solid foundation in transportation research and engineering.
Dewan’s experience spans both academia and industry. As a Graduate Research Assistant, he has contributed to projects involving public transportation pricing, Zero-Emission Buses (ZEB), and bicycle infrastructure, all focused on developing sustainable, data-driven solutions.
