Samra Sarwar

I am an urban transportation planner and traffic engineer. I hold a master's degree in transportation engineering (2019) from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. From 2020 and 2024, I worked as a Researcher-Urban Mobility at the Center for Innovation in Transport (CENIT) @ CIMNE-UPC. I have over 5 years of expertise in her field and worked on applications areas such as transportation modeling, traffic management, multimodal mobility, connected and autonomous cars, and 15-minute city. I am working on European Union projects since 2022. As a Severo Ochoa Research Fellow and PhD Researcher from 2020 to 2024, I experienced different aspects of urban mobility planning, such as simulation and optimization of transportation networks, public transit routes, and devised policies to promote safety, reduce congestion, and increase accessibility
