I’m a structural engineer with 2 years of experience in structural design. I design wood, concrete, and steel buildings. I'm currently a full time student pursuing a dual MBA/MS in Civil Engineering at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025.
Some things that I’ve done:
• As a Structural Associate at Michael Baker, I designed 8 steel pipe supports for a mechanical room, designed and modified 40+ ladders to meet OSHA requirements, and designed a 250 foot long steel pipe bridge using Tekla Tedds & RISA.
• As an intern at FROST Structural Engineering, I drafted and designed high end custom wood homes. I was responsible for the full lateral and gravity design of a 2,000 square foot Accessory Dwelling Unit.
• As a construction materials technician at STRATA, I preformed Asphalt, Concrete, Aggregate, and Nuclear Density quality assurance testing for the remodeling of the Jackson Hole Airport.
I am excited about structural design opportunities where I can design complex steel and concrete buildings that meet community and company needs. In the future, I want to apply the business knowledge I have gained to be an effective project manager.
