Sushil Bhatta is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he also serves as a Graduate Research Assistant. His research focuses on resilient and sustainable infrastructure system design. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus in Nepal. Before his doctoral studies, Sushil gained extensive industry experience as a Civil Engineer, working on projects involving structural analysis, design, and drawing of reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry structures. In his professional roles at Four Season Construction and Builders Pvt. Ltd. and Sitara Consult Private Limited, he was responsible for preparing detailed project reports for a wide range of infrastructure projects, including buildings, parks, hospitals, and markets. Sushil combines academic expertise with hands-on industry experience to advance sustainable infrastructure design.
