Odilo Mwesiga Mdimi is a Ph.D. student in Civil Engineering at Florida International University, specializing in transportation engineering. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Ardhi University in Tanzania in 2017. He then obtained his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida International University in 2024. His research interests include traffic operations, traffic safety, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), statistical modeling, and electric vehicles (EVs. His professional background includes pivotal roles as a performance auditor at the National Audit Office of Tanzania and an intern at Tanzania Railways Corporation. Odilo actively contributes to the civil engineering community through memberships in several professional societies and volunteers in educational and environmental initiatives.
