I am Madhukar K C, a registered civil engineer in Nepal.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Purbanchal University, Nepal. I also hold a Master's degree in Transportation Engineering and Management from Pokhara University, Nepal. I've been working as an engineer since 2012 at Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
I began my career as a junior engineer at Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, where I gained hands-on experience in the design and execution of airport pavement projects and till now i have been continuously working at that organization as a pavement engineer (Technical Officer) under the technical service department. I have worked 8 years at Tribhuwan International Airport(TIA), which is one of the busiest airport in Nepal. After TIA, I have been working at Gautam Buddha International Airport(GBIA), Nepal at the same post. I have played a pivotal role in several high-profile projects, including the renovation of runways, apron and the development of new taxiways at international airports. I am adept at developing innovative solutions to enhance pavement durability and performance. My commitment is to ensure safety, efficiency and sustainability and to integrating cutting-edge technology with practical engineering solutions.
Besides that, My interest of research is in developing a new, eco-friendly material for airfield and road construction that has significantly reduced maintenance costs and environmental impact. I have published my research paper in peer reviewed journal, entitle on " Comparative Analysis of Polypropylene Fiber for Rigid Airfield Pavement : Case study of apron of Gautam Buddha International Airport" in International Journal on Engineering technology and infrastructure Development (InJET-InDEV).
Beyond my professional achievements, I am deeply involved in community outreach and mentoring. I volunteer with local STEM programs to inspire the next generation of engineers and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Transport Engineers Nepal (SoTEN) and Nepal Engineering Association(NEA).
