Mr Andre Greyling is a registered Professionally Civil Engineer based in South Africa and has worked in the road construction industry for the last 21 years. He graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 2001 and he completed his Master Degree in Pavements Engineering in 2012.
He is currently a Director in Loudon International Consulting Engineers who specialises in the design and promotion of cold recycling as the preferred approach to rehabilitating distressed pavements. He is further a Director in BVi Western Cape South Africa where he heads up the Transportation Infrastructure Division.
Since 2010 he has been continuously involved in road rehabilitation projects across the world and has focused on the development of recycling technology and specifically foamed bitumen stabilisation. Since 2015 he has worked closely with the Wirtgen Group and their Clients to promote recycling and with research institutions to develop appropriate technology.
Experiences gained from across the world have been shared by presenting at conferences and participating in numerous seminars, all aimed at encouraging the adoption of a greener and more economic approach to maintaining and improving the downward spiralling condition of the global road network.
