Kwadwo Ampadu Boateng is a civil engineering Ph.D. candidate at Michigan Technological University. His research interests include flexible and rigid pavement materials characterization, pavement management systems, and asphalt binder rheology. His current research focuses on finding sustainable ways to recycle waste materials, such as scrap tires, for pavement applications. He obtained his Master's in civil engineering from Louisiana State University and his bachelor's in civil engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, West Africa.
