Dr. Injun Song has been working on pavement research for the U.S. Navy - Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) since August 2017. He received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in 2004 and obtained his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license from Delaware’s Engineering Licensing Board in 2012. He has extensive experienced in various pavement research areas, including pavement design, material characterization, and evaluations.
Currently, he works as a program manager for pavement research at the U.S. Navy. Additionally, he is a standing committee member for the TRB AKP 50 on pavement surface properties and vehicle interaction, and the vice chair for the ASTM Committee E17 on vehicle-pavement systems.
