Jerome Martizano is an undergraduate student pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on transportation at the Lyles College of Engineering. He is currently serving as a Research Project Assistant at the Fresno State Transportation Institute, where he focuses on synthesizing research on roundabouts and conducting public sentiment surveys to shape community outreach strategies. Since August 2023, he has also been a Student Assistant at FSTI, playing a key role in public education initiatives, file management, social media outreach, and event planning, while regularly presenting research progress in departmental meetings.
In July 2024, he completed an internship with the Mobility Planning Department in Münster, Germany, where he contributed to the design of alternative layouts for the Ludgeriplatz roundabout and assisted in optimizing bicycle parking facilities.
