Ryland Potter joined WDM USA in 2018. She has developed and delivered successful continuous friction-based pavement evaluation and management programs in the United States and has been instrumental in developing analytical roadmaps focused on friction/texture assessment, friction modeling, and friction policy and program development at the Local, State, and Federal level. Ryland presents regularly on strategies and best practices in pavement friction management. Ryland chairs the American Traffic Safety Services Association National (ATSSA) HFST Council and is a member of the TRB Committee on Pavement Surface Properties and Vehicle Interaction (AKP50). She lives in Richmond, Virginia.
