Seth W. Chalmers, PE, MASCE, Fellow-ITE. is an enthusiastic voice for safety, traffic, and civil engineering. He currently is the Director of Traffic Engineer at Dibble's Phoenix, Arizona office, and has over 41 years of diverse transportation and traffic engineering experience. He is an active member of the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) and currently serves as the Chairperson of the Traffic Signal Committee and is a friend of the Guardrail Committee. Seth is also a member of ASTM where he services on the D04.38 Committee on Highway Traffic Control Materials and the F14 Fence Committee (Guardrail is a type of fence). Seth is chair of the University of Arizona Civil Architectural Engineering and Mechanics Alumni & Industrial Council (AIC). Seth recently authored a children’s book entitled ABCs of Civil Engineers. Seth is also an Eagle Scout.
