Hunter is a Director with more than 10 years’ experience at the Denver International Airport. Hunter has managed over 12 separate multi-million-dollar projects as a Project Manager and Construction Manager including a $220 Million dollar Concourse Expansion at DEN.
Project director for the Small Business Enterprise Infrastructure Project Management Support Services contract. Managing all project management staff to support DEN infrastructure projects. Projects including the DEN 17L-35R Runway Rehabilitation projects, DEN Gate Apron Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvement program (GARDI), the DEN Annual Landside Pavement Rehabilitation Program, and Worldport Parking Lot. In addition, Hunter has oversight to the DEN PMSS Facilities contract as a subconsultant to JWI. Projects include DEN Concourse B Wayfinding Refresh, DEN ARFF Generator Replacements, and DEN DAS Phase 2 Upgrades, DEN Xcel Transformers Relocation.
DEN project manager for the $20M rehabilitation of 3 Gate Aprons along Concourse A West (Gates A34-A38), responsible for the project team and stakeholder coordination. This project is part of the concourse expansion program, located on airside airport property. The scope involves drainage installation, utility installation, concrete removals, asphalt paving, concrete paving and coordination with numerous DEN stakeholders.
Construction Manager for the $220M Denver International Airport Concourse B East Expansion adding ten (10) new gates to the airport and renovating two (2) existing gates. Managed the general contractor, designer of record, commissioning agent, AHJ coordination, and airline coordination. Concourse B East Expansion is a $220 Million Dollar project within the concourse expansion program adding 10 gates to the airport and renovating 2 existing gates. This project includes a 135,000 sqft building with apron, concourse and mezzanine levels. The scope includes but not limited to Jet Fuel Vaults and Fuel Pits, Passenger Loading Bridges, Life Safety Systems, Comm Rooms, Digital Wayfinding, Terrazzo, Bathrooms, etc.
Hunter has 5 years of offshore oil and gas project engineering experience developing offshore installation procedures, managing welding production and coordinating subcontractor fabrication.
