Dr. Ali currently serves as the Associate Director of CREATES at Rowan University. He is currently leading, or has completed, as a PI or a Co-PI, several projects funded by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) and the United States Department of Defense (USDoD). He also successfully completed projects funded by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Dr. Ali has more than 15 years of experience conducting research in the areas of pavement materials, laboratory and field performance evaluations, full-scale accelerated testing, pavement instrumentation, and asset management working on research grants totaling around $60M.
