Dr. Amin Asgharzadeh is a recent Ph.D. graduate of Civil Engineering at the University of Kansas. During his study at KU, he performed research on a variety of transportation subjects such as freeway capacity analysis, macrosimulation, public transportation and control, and traffic flow analysis. Dr. Asgharzadeh worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the transportation lab during his Ph.D. at the University of Kansas. Dr. Asgharzadeh is currently a Traffic Engineer at Arcadis Inc in Houston, Texas. Dr. Asgharzadeh received his M.Sc. degree from the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran in 2015.
