Dr. Ying Huang is a distinguished Professor and Welch Faculty Fellow in Civil Engineering at North Dakota State University. Dr. Huang’s research focuses on the application of advanced technologies in civil infrastructure, with expertise in smart cities, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and big data. Her work also covers energy networks, smart materials, corrosion protection, and intelligent transportation systems. Additionally, she is highly regarded for her contributions to structural health monitoring, pavement and traffic monitoring, and the detection of natural hazards such as wildfires. As an advocate for cutting-edge solutions, Dr. Huang is dedicated to improving infrastructure resilience and safety across various sectors.
