Hong Lang received the Ph.D. degree in transportation engineering from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2021. From 2021 to 2024, he worked as a Associate Research Scientist at the college of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate with University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He presided National Natural Science Foundation of China, and transportation science and technology projects of provincial and ministerial. Hong Lang conducts research related to transportation engineering at Illinois Center for Transportation (ICT), with a focus on intelligent infrastructure, utilizing emerging sensing technologies, AI and big data analytics.
