Dr. Yadong Wang, received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1999 from Sichun University,
China. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the
University of Oklahoma in 2006, and 2010, respectively. From 1999 to 2003, Dr. Yadong Wang worked
as a radar hardware engineer in Changfeng Science Technology Corporation in China. Before joining
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, he worked for the National Severe Storm Laboratory
as a postDoctoral research associate, and a research scientist from 2010 to 2016. Dr. Wang is currently
an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Southern Illinois
University Edwardsville. Dr. Yadong Wang's research interests include radar signal processing,
novel radar algorithm development, polarimetric weather radar, remote sensing, and communication.
