Haider is an accomplished engineering professional in the field of sustainable road construction and asphalt material science. He specializes in developing innovative approaches for asphalt modification using polymeric recycled materials (particularly waste plastics and waste tire rubbers) to create long-lasting and environmentally friendly roads. Haider’s research interest also covers Life Cycle Assessment and Life Cycle Cost Assessment of asphalt pavements aiming to provide comprehensive insights into the environmental and economic impact of road construction. Recently, he has dedicated his efforts to advancing green procurement policies by creating incentive structures for suppliers that use low-carbon paving materials. Haider is passionate about pursuing positions in line with his expertise wherein he can apply his knowledge of enhancing levels of service for asphalt pavements, and addressing environmental and budget limitations in road projects.
