Md Mahede Hasan Khan is a PhD candidate in Transportation and Environmental Engineering at Florida Atlantic University. His research focuses on traffic management systems, adaptive cruise control (ACC), and the integration of electric vehicles (EVs) into traffic systems. He holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from FAU and a BSc in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh. Mahede has published extensively on ACC behavior, including the impacts of lane changes on traffic capacity, and is actively engaged in several transportation projects with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
