An engineer-in-training with the Federal Highway Administration in the Ohio Division, Catherine graduated from Penn State Harrisburg with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and later earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Penn State Graduate School. Her master's thesis focused on how travel behaviors for grocery shopping changed before and after the pandemic.
Originally from El Salvador, Catherine has experience in transportation data analysis and aims to leverage this expertise to enhance infrastructure and improve the lives of the most vulnerable road users.
