Yu-Chen is a PhD student in the Urban Planning Department at the University of Washington. She earned her master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her bachelor’s degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design from National Taiwan University. At UCLA, she worked as a graduate student research assistant, investigating community vulnerabilities related to wildfires in California. Currently, she is a research assistant at the Urban Freight Lab, where she is involved in the Open Mobility Foundation’s SMART Curb Collaborative Project. Her research focuses on sustainable transportation and last-mile delivery.
