Dr. Gauhar Sabih is an assistant professor in the School of Concrete and Construction Management at Middle Tennessee State University. He has a PhD in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering. His research focuses on concrete materials, highway pavement design, mechanistic modeling of pavements, and performance analysis of rigid pavement systems. He has 18 years of professional work experience in the construction industry, working on various projects. He is proficient with cost estimation and cost analysis of several types of construction projects. He has successfully completed three funded research projects as a PI in the last four years. Most notable is the NCDOT-funded project of $249,801.00 titled “Investigating Thermal and Mechanical Inputs for Rigid Pavement Design in North Carolina.” He has published his research in international journals and presented at several renowned conferences. He has an aggregate of 28 publications in refereed journals and international conferences.
