Jordan Ouellet (pronounced Well-Let) is a PhD candidate and research assistant in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He holds an associate’s, batchelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from Canada and specializes in pavements and concrete materials. He conducted research and worked on pre-cracking of cement treated bases, mix design of ultra-lightweight concrete, and production of bagged grouts, mortars, and specialty concrete mixes. His current research on roller-compacted concrete with Prof. Jeffery Roesler focuses on volumetric mix design, testing of constructability in the laboratory, and field testing of RCC.
