Mr. Yakshansh Kumar is a research scholar in the Department of Civil Engineering at Delhi Technological University. The primary focus of his work is to investigate the response of pavement-soil systems under dynamic loading conditions and their design. He is currently working on a project entitled "Dynamic response of pavement-soil system using piezo sensors," supported by the IRD, Delhi Technological University. Mr. Kumar has published three research articles in the Web of Science/Scopus Indexed Journals, out of which two research articles have been nominated for a commendable research award as per the university guidelines. He has received the best paper award on two occasions for the advance investigation on the post-elastic response of pavement subjected to moving load. Mr. Kumar has also contributed to two book chapters. Mr. Kumar is a peer-reviewer for several international conference bodies and journals, such as Transportation Infrastructure Geotechnology-Springer, Switzerland. He is a student member of international civil engineering societies, namely the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Civil Engineers-London.
