Professor Charles Asenime is a professor of urban and region/transport planning, Inclusive mobility, Inland waterways transport and logistics, and Dean, School of Transport and Logistics. He is a fellow of chartered institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and Nigerian Institute of Shipping. He has worked on several projects including the Evaluation of Rural Travel Management of the South-South Ecological Zone for the World Bank in 2002, Traffic Turning Movement Study at Jibowu Roundabout and Interchange for the World Bank and Lagos State Government, Travel challenges of persons living in informal communities in Lagos State, Comparative Analysis of E-hailing Mobility Service in selected cities in West, East and Southern Africa for the Volvo Research Foundation in 2021, and most recently A Study of Causal Relationship between Overlapping Quadruple Governance Authority and the Perennial Traffic Gridlock in Apapa Port Area of Lagos State, Nigeria. For the Volvo Research Foundation in 2022. He is the current Dean of the School of Transport and Logistics and has Published in several monographs including Transport Related issues in Nigeria, INTALinC /VREF Country report (Nigeria), Rural Mobility, and Livelihood-Povita, Badagry, Theories, Concepts and Mathematical Applications in Transport Research among others.
