Hafiz is a senior engineer at AID, NDT Division. His Bachelor’s degree is in Structural Engineering from University of Technology, Iraq. He has a Master and Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Portland State University (PSU), specializing in Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) and Structural Health Monitoring. Beside to practicing Structural design, he has been researching behavior of ultrasonic waves in concrete since 2014, as well as, the linear and nonlinear vibration behavior of reinforced concrete members. He is the author of more than 7 scientific articles and conference papers and is the recipient of the ASNT Fellowship Award (American Society for Nondestructive Testing).
