Dr. Elin Jensen, has extensive research experience in concrete pavement and bridge applications. Her research focus is performance, including environmental and extreme loads. Dr. Jensen has served as PI, Co-PI, or personnel on ten MDOT projects since 1998, ranging in topics from transverse cracking in JPCP as related to concrete toughness and base design, aggregate characterization in terms of freeze-thaw and thermal expansion, soil stabilization with recycled material, nondestructive testing of bridge decks and bridge beams, and LCCA.
