Alexis Zane Alexander is a 4th-year undergraduate and Lyles College of Engineering Honors student majoring in Civil Engineering with a planned emphasis in Transportation Engineering at California State University, Fresno. He is currently researching new Big Data GIS analysis tools and how they may be utilized to better understand transportation footprints within the Fresno region.
Alexis has served as the 2023-24 President for the Fresno State Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Student Chapter, but now serves as the 2024-25 Treasurer. He has also served with Fresno State's ASCE Student Chapter as Lower Division Representative and Secretary in the past. Since the Summer 2023, Alexis has been interning as a Roadway Design Intern with Mark Thomas, a transportation engineering design firm based in California, and previously interned at Teichert during Summer 2022.
