Ing Leslie Alexander Ayeh is a graduate in Civil Engineering
He worked with the Ghana Highway Authority was later seconded to OVE ARUPS on the Axim-Mpataba-Elubo Project an 84 kilometer asphaltic Concrete road with a number of Bridges.
He later joined H.D Sylvester, an Aviation Consultant who was working on a number of Aviation projects, which included Extension of Kumasi and Takoradi Airports; He worked on the siting and detailed design of the relocation of the Sunyani Airport to Nsoatre.
In 1993 He joined Louis Berger group in Paris France and was posted to the Republic of Guinea to supervise 2 Major road projects Faranah – Kissoudougou and Faranah – Dabola.
He later formed AYEH & AYEH which worked on the design of the HO airport, Other aerodromes Kurantin Airstrip , Feasibility and Preliminary Design of the Cape Coast Airport, Bibiani Aerodrome.
In 2000, He partnered Louis Berger International and SH &E to undertake a World Bank project to restructure and Ghana Civil Aviation Authority with the aim of decoupling Regulating Authority of the Airport from the Operator and that gave Birth to the Ghana Airport Company .
Ayeh & Ayeh later worked as Consultants on the Kotoka International airport phase 3. Rehabilitation of Taxiway/Apron Pavements & Lighting & The Extension of Fuel Main to New Aprons
He later undertook Environmental Impact studies and worked on 9 Feeder roads projects in South Sudan
He is currently the Project Director for the expansion of the Taxiway and Apron parking, the AGL and the Fuel hydrants system. The Apron should Accommodate 4 Code E aircrafts and 6 code C aircrafts and ancillary works .
Ayeh & Ayeh was engaged to undertake a design review and project supervision of the construction of the Northern Apron and the extension of the Taxiway and ancilliary works including Aeronautical ground lighting and fuel hydrants for the ten new aircraft stands and Ing Leslie Ayeh served as the Project Director.
The Ministry of Transport engaged Ayeh & Ayeh to undertake detailed Feasibility studies on the Construction of a new Airport in the Central Region of Ghana which should serve as a major cargo hub in West Africa and serve as a link between South America and Europe . The project involved the selection of the most suitable site among six proposed site. Ing Ayeh served as the project Director.
Ecobank Plc contracted Ayeh and Ayeh as Technical advisors in their funding of Projects to the Ghana Civil Aviation. Ing Ayeh served as the Chief Technical Advisor
Ing Ayeh is a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Engineering.
He is currently:
Treasurer and Board Member of Federation of African Engineering Organization (2023-24)
Member of the Committee on Anti-Corruption of the World Federation of Engineering organizations
The Past President of the West African Federation of Engineering Organizations and the Ghana Institution of Engineering.
He is a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers
Member of the committee on Airfield pavements of the ASCE/T&DI
