Guillermo Montestruque has a degree in Civil Engineering from the National University 'Pedro Ruiz Gallo', a Master's degree in Aeronautical Infrastructure Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA-Brazil) and a doctorate from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA-Brazil). He completed postdoctoral studies at the University of São Paulo (USP). He is currently a consultant in the area of ​​Transport Infrastructure and professor at the University of Vale do Paraíba (UNIVAP), in São José dos Campos, São Paulo. His main lines of research include rehabilitation of pavements with and without geosynthetics, fatigue and fracture of asphalt mixtures, and base reinforcement of pavements with geosynthetics.
