Arsalan is currently a third-year Ph.D. student at the Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Department of the University of Washington. He received his Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and his Master’s in Transportation Engineering. His master’s thesis focused on traffic safety and he has been working in this area for more than 8 years. He also worked on topics including technology acceptance and transportation psychology, resulting in articles published in different peer-reviewed journals. Arsalan research interests iare Traffic Safety, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
