Dr. V. Vinay Kumar currently works as a Technical Manager: Pavements at HUESKER North America. Prior to this, Dr. Kumar worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for Transportation Research at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Kumar's research interests include Transportation Geotechnics, Pavement Engineering, Geosynthetics, Pavement Materials, Recycled Materials, Sustainable Pavements, Reflective cracking in HMA overlays, Digital image correlation, and Non-destructive testing of Pavements. Dr. Kumar has been awarded with the prestigious "Young International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) Award" for his outstanding contributions to "advancements in the application of geosynthetics as asphalt reinforcements."
