Dan is an experienced airport master planner who specializes in ground transportation facility planning. He understands the relationships between the physical, operational, and financial needs of airports. Dan has worked at over 50 airports throughout the world, managing master plans in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America and assisted on many others. He has conducted a wide range of ground access studies including curbside and roadway planning and simulation; parking strategies, layouts, designs, and demand analysis; and rental car facility planning. Dan is currently the Chair of ASCE ICTD’s Airport Planning and Operations Committee and is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences. Dan holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (transportation) from the University of California, Berkeley and is fluent in Spanish.
