Boris Goenaga earned his doctoral degree from the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at North Carolina State University (NCSU) in Raleigh. His PhD is in Transportation Materials, focusing on pavement management and highway safety. Broadly speaking, Boris' work centers on integrating the elements of a pavement management system with those of a pavement friction management program and identifying the relationship between pavement surface condition and highway safety. Boris has worked in research projects for North Carolina Department of Transportation, the California Department of Transportation, and as a Consultant for KPR Engineering PLLC.
