Kacie C. D’Alessandro, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Military Institute (VMI). She earned her Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 2013 and her M.S. and B.S. from Clemson University in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Her primary research interests are in ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC), structural design, in situ structural behavior, and topics in engineering education.
