Dr. Nazmus Sakib completed his Bachelor's of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering with Honors from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2009. He received his Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He holds Professional Engineer (PE) certification from Michigan, USA. He received prestigious Talbot S. Huff, Sr. Highway Engineering Graduate Fellowship (2014) and Mary Kate Collins Memorial Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Civil Eng. (2013) during his graduate studies. Dr. Sakib has been working for the Department of CEE of Islamic university of Technology (IUT) since 2010. Before joining IUT, he briefly served Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). His expertise is in the general area of Transportation Engineering. His research interest includes Pavement Engineering, Climate Resilient Infrastructure, Mobility, Bituminous Material, Microscopy, and Finite Element Analysis. Dr. Sakib authored several well-cited publications in top-tier journals by ASCE, IJPE, ACI, ASTM, TRB etc.
