Prabhjot Singh Gandhi is a Research Scholar at the iMaSS Lab of IIT Jammu. He holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar. After graduation, he worked as an Engineer (Execution) at Afcons Infrastructure Limited (SPCL group) for nearly two years. He then completed his M.Tech in Transportation Systems Engineering from NIT Hamirpur. In 2016, he joined the Public Works (Roads & Buildings) Department of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir as a Junior Engineer, advancing to Assistant Engineer in 2017. He also earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Planning in 2019 and an MA in Urban Studies in 2023 while working with PWD. With over 10 years of dedicated service in the industry, including 8 years as an Assistant Engineer in Government administration and engineering, he brings extensive experience in roads & highways, infrastructure development, and project management. In September 2023, he started his PhD programme under the supervision of Dr. Ankit Kathuria, focusing on traffic operations and intelligent transportation systems, specifically using Bluetooth (BT) and Wi-Fi-based sensors for traffic management
