Dr. Ujwalkumar Patil is a dedicated civil engineer with a strong focus on geotechnical engineering. Currently serving as a tenure-track associate professor at the University of the District of Columbia, Dr. Patil brings a wealth of academic and industry experience to his role. Before his current position, he held a tenured Associate Professor faculty position at the University of Guam, where he also served as Chair of the Civil Engineering Department. His academic journey began with a PhD in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) and post-doctoral research at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Patil has a proven track record of research excellence, with publications in esteemed international journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Patil is also a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. With a passion for teaching, Dr. Patil has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses and actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for international journals and conferences.
